Delete your Dart Mage account
You can delete your account at any time. It takes a minute, and you don't have to give a reason.
In the app
- Open Dart Mage and sign in.
- Tap Settings on the home screen.
- Tap Delete my account, then tap again to confirm.
By email
Can't get into the app? Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Dart Mage account." We'll delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.
If you subscribed in the App Store or Google Play
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Dart Mage Plus subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play. The store bills you, so cancel it there, before or after you delete your account:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Android: the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in and email address
- Your profile: your name and color
- Your friends list, friend requests, and blocks
- Your player number's link to you (the number is retired and never given to anyone else)
- Your casual, practice, and Hal (the Bot) games, and the stats and averages worked out from them
- Your event listings, notifications, and anything waiting in your Inbox
These are deleted right away. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days, as old backups are replaced.
What stays, and why
- League and tournament results stay with those events, under the name the league or tournament entered for you, so standings, brackets, and your opponents' records still add up. Your account is no longer tied to them.
- Money records an organization entered, such as whether dues were paid, stay with that organization's books.
- Announcements you posted for a league stay with that league, without your account.
- Games on your own phone stay on your phone until you erase them there (Settings, then Erase games, players, and stats) or remove the app.
